2022 Barossa Valley Shiraz
The 2022 vintage was warm and dry, with excellent ripening conditions and notable diurnal range, producing concentrated and powerful fruit.
Tasting Note:
Deep garnet red in the glass. Aromas of blackberry, blueberry, and plum are lifted by hints of black pepper and liquorice. Matured for 18 months in a mix of French and American oak, this Shiraz gains layers of vanilla, espresso, and dark chocolate. The palate is rich and concentrated, with firm yet fine-grained tannins and medium-high acidity providing structure. Long and powerful finish with mocha and spice undertones. A bold wine, perfect with chargrilled steak or roast lamb.

2025 Barossa Valley Shiraz
Early predictions for 2025 suggest a balanced season with moderate warmth, likely delivering wines of both richness and finesse.
Tasting Note:
Brilliant ruby-purple color. Aromas of blackberry, mulberry, and red plum mingle with floral notes of lavender and spice. Maturation for around 18 months in seasoned French oak barrels adds nuances of vanilla pod, roasted almond, and gentle mocha. The palate is plush yet elegant, showing vibrant fruit purity, polished tannins, and refreshing acidity. A seamless finish leaves traces of dark fruit and fine spice. A harmonious Shiraz, well-suited to roast lamb, venison, or aged cheddar.

2023 Barossa Valley Shiraz
The 2023 season was cooler with lower yields, resulting in elegant fruit expression and lively natural acidity.
Tasting Note:
Bright ruby-red hue. The bouquet shows lifted notes of blueberry, black cherry, and violets, accented with touches of pepper and clove. Aged for 16 months in French oak, the wine displays subtle cigar box, roasted hazelnut, and delicate toast characters. On the palate, it is vibrant and refined, with fresh acidity and silky tannins. More graceful than the 2022 vintage, finishing with cassis and cocoa notes. A versatile food partner, pairing beautifully with duck breast, mushroom risotto, or semi-hard cheeses.
